Hospitality Front Desk Agent

Full job description

We are searching for the right person to join our team! This candidate will have customer service experience, be friendly and enthusiastic, and be able to multi task efficiently. Located in Springfield,VA MOTEL+STUDIO 6 is a limited service hotel.

Essential Functions:

• Identify and explain room features to guests; supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
• Process all guest requests and relay messages.
• Activate and file room keys.
• Verify and adjust billing to guest folios when needed
• Secure payment from guests
• Accept and record wake-up call requests
• Count bank at beginning and end of shift; secure bank.
• Process all payment types and miscellaneous charges; provide change.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with a variety of requests
• Create, modify, and cancel reservations upon confirmation with a guest
• Keep the lobby and public areas clean and tidy
• Other duties may be assigned by the Front Desk Manager or General Manager

Required Qualifications:

• Able to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with customers and employees.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
• Schedule Hours 3PM-11PM (Be able to work weekends)
