Leasing Consultant - New Lease-Up Community

LEASING CONSULTANT at Wilcox Communities for a new community in Lewis Center, OH.

Wilcox Communities seeks to hire a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our Central Ohio team.  The Leasing Consultant will be someone that helps Wilcox Communities achieve leasing goals and customer experience goals at The Residences at Ryan Creek. As a Leasing Consultant with Wilcox Communities your role will primarily include:
• Lead Management: Initial responses and following up with potential residents to provide
information about our communities and apartment homes.
• Property Tours: Giving guided tours of the Community and apartments.
• Administration: Assisting with new lease applications and related processes and coordinating
the renewal lease process for current residents.

• Customer Experience: Following-up with current and prospective residents on feedback and
concerns. Assisting with customer service and experience initiative and events throughout the
Community.

REQUIREMENTS
• Your Experience: You’ve worked in a fast-paced, professional environment, you enjoy engaging and interacting with people, and you are motivated by achieving defined sales goals.

As a Leasing Consultant, you’ll also have a strong desire to achieve goals and deliver great customer experiences.
• Working Weekends: You’ll be required to work weekends as a part of your regular schedule. Your schedule will include regular days off that fall between Monday and Friday.
• Your Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, High School (or GED) required.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
• Sales and/or property management experience
• Experience in a customer facing role with responsibilities including customer service, conflict resolution and anticipating resident needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in event planning and coordination, preferred but not required

• Responsible, accountable, and self-motivated, qualified individual will be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Entrata Property Management Software preferred, but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic personal computer skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• DRIVER’S LICENSE: This position may require some travel around Columbus, therefore, you must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• BACKGROUND: You must be able to successfully pass a reference and criminal background check
• STATUS: Full-time
• LOCATION: Lewis Center, OH 
• TRAVEL: May be required between assigned Communities in Columbus area
• REPORTS TO: Property Manager
• DIRECT REPORTS: None
• SALARY: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour plus commission
