POSITION SUMMARY
The Hills Church Executive Assistant position is responsible for ensuring administrative and project support to the executive leadership at Hills Church. This is a high-level role that will help bring continual continuity and care to the team, Church and mission. This is an onsite role that requires 5+ years of professional full-time experience. We are open to part-time vs. full-time role creation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides support for one or more Pastor(s)
- Maintain Pastor’s appointments/calendar by planning and scheduling meetings
- Email management and organization
- Digital File Management
- Create structure/workflow/processes
- CRM administration (Planning Center Online): updates & data entry
- Some event planning and coordination
- Manage and process expense reports
- Special Project assistance/coordination/lead
- Excellent Staff Care/Morale Support

- Proficient working with MAC & PC’s; database experience; excel
- Experience with project coordination
- Knowledge of and proficiency in general administrative skills
- Strong communication skills
- Maintain a strong sense of partnership, teamwork and friendly collegiality with Pastors and others in leadership
- Love and engage with people in this congregation, tangibly and genuinely
- A passion for working with others and an ability to challenge them to grow deeper in their faith
- A self-starter with drive, passion and initiative

- A shepherd’s temperament; servant-leader/mentor attitude and inclination
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate persuasively and compassionately both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate an ongoing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Maintain alliance with Hills Church goals, strategies and vision
- Maintain regular attendance at worship services and demonstrate active membership at Hills Church
- Prior Church staff experience is a huge plus but not a requirement.
