Job Description

Job Summary:

The Solar Canvasser will be one of the first points of contact for potential clients by canvassing neighborhoods, creating meaningful connections, providing product and service information, booking appointments, and educating them about how our company is a top-quality choice as their solar provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Generate leads and book sales appointments with clients by visiting various neighborhoods and communities, approaching potential clients with knowledge (not required but a plus!) of energy efficient products; Solar, Battery Storage and other energy efficient products.
  • Consistently utilize company information and resources to accurately educate potential customers on our products and services.
  • Utilize influencing and persuasion skills to strongly market to potential clients while demonstrating a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Partner with the company's Sales team for potential new customer installation.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of clients.
  • Strictly follows quality, safety and workplace behavior standards;
  • Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company;
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires two (2) years of proven-success in Canvassing with outside Sales & Marketing Experience.
  • A valid Driver License is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and persuade clients as a professional representation of the organization.
  • Reliable and transparent communication skills with team and leaders.
  • Must have reliable transportation and attendance.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Available to work a schedule of Monday through Friday dayshift, weekends as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
