Job Description:

In your position as a Subject Matter Expert, you will serve as a financial management SME on an NSF contract. You will bring expertise in accounting, financial reporting, risk management - generally CFO shop expertise. In this position, you will also:

• Serve as the subject matter expert and provides industry best practice solutions to moderately complex problems.
• Analyze problems and recommend, monitor, and execute best practice solutions to executive level management.
• Develop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion in the subject matter area for simple to moderately complex financial and other business integrated systems.
• Assist other consultants with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in integrated management systems.
• Interface with client organizations to design research programs and studies and develop solutions.

Required Skills:

• CPA and/or CGFM
• 10+ years of experience within financial management/accounting roles
• Public Trust
• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Desired Skills:

• Have experience at NSF or other grant-making or science-focused agencies
• PMP Certification
