People Leader at Conventions

Keva in Northern Nevada is looking for a People Leader to join our team. Our corporate office is located in Reno, Nevada. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.

As a People Leader at Keva, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our retail operations by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. You will lead and inspire a team of retail employees, empowering them to deliver exceptional customer experiences while upholding Keva's high standards of service excellence. Your primary focus will be on developing and supporting your team members' personal and professional growth.

The People Leader supports the team through constant training, coaching, and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to Keva's values and fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and accountability within the team.
2. Employee Development: Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to team members to help them reach their full potential. Identify opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
3. Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies to address areas for improvement.
4. Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new hires. Facilitate effective onboarding and training programs to ensure new employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for success.
5. Employee Engagement: Promote employee engagement and morale through recognition programs, team-building activities, and regular communication channels.
6. Conflict Resolution: Address any conflicts or issues within the team in a timely and effective manner, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate positive outcomes.
7. Operational Support: Collaborate with other store leaders to ensure smooth operation of the retail environment. Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and other operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and motivate others.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members effectively.
• Proven track record of driving results and achieving targets.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with Apple products and technologies.
• Knowledge of retail industry food trends and best practices.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
