Job Description

A Lead Technician is mainly responsible for performing the water mitigation for residential properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating “on call / emergency response” requirement.

Water Mitigation: Performing water extraction, setting up and monitoring drying equipment, and conducting moisture readings to ensure successful drying processes.
Customer Service: Regularly communicating with clients to update them on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring their complete satisfaction throughout the process.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and caring for company equipment, ensuring tools are in top condition and ready for deployment.
Team Leadership: Providing guidance and training to junior technicians; ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
Emergency Response: Participating in a rotating “on call” schedule, ready to address water emergencies swiftly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in water damage restoration or a related role.
High attention to detail and job documentation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Clean criminal history and driving record
Ability to work in challenging environments, such as confined spaces or heights.
IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification or equivalent is preferred. (RestoPros may conditionally offer to pay for your Water Damage Restoration training and exam from the IICRC, pending employment.)
