RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform tasks to ensure that financial functions are reconciled monthly including, but not limited to: cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning, inter-company accounts, and other general ledger accounts.

· Work closely with the department to ensure all financial and accounting needs are met and relevant analysis is performed.

· Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.

· Reinforces company policies and adhere to all company standards.

· Inspect for compliance and maintain all applicable laws and regulations.

· Ensure proper internal controls are in place.

REQUIREMENTS

· At least 3 years Automotive Dealership accounting experience and has held this position within the last 12 months.

· Reynolds and Reynolds software experience preferred.

· Working knowledge of aspects of an automotive accounting department.

· Demonstrates ability to get along with others.
