Under the direction of the Manager of Homeless Programs, the primary responsibilities of the Crisis Specialist include the prevention of and/or intervention in crisis situations with clients at the Engagement Center or at the Commons at Chantry.

Crisis Specialist Requirements

Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field preferred.
High school diploma with previous experience (lived or professional) in crisis and de-escalation work, mental health and substance abuse disorders, housing and/or homelessness required.
LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW preferred.
This is a 2nd shift position.
