The Human Resources Senior Manager manages the firm-wide Human Resources functions of Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Leave Administration, Compliance and Recognition programs. This position works closely with the Chief People Officer as a confidant and is the lead individual for firm-wide employee services. The ideal candidate would have 10+ years of human resources management experience, ideally in the professional services industry or similar. Attributes that ensure success include influencing skills, a self-starter with attention to detail, excellent client service and communication skills, and software adeptness.

- Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders through building high-trust relationships with senior leaders, directors, and managers.
- Leads by example and models servant leadership by living out Blue’s cultural values.
- Lead our comprehensive Total Rewards strategy, ensuring that are compensation and benefit plans are competitive and cost-effective for the firm.
- Develops and deploys innovative wellness and recognition programs.
- Maintains knowledge of legal updates on leave administration and employee compliance guidelines.
- Administrates the firm’s annual performance review process.
- Brings innovation in the employee services and overall talent strategy of Blue & Co.
- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
- Develop comprehensive retention plans to meet the human capital needs of the firm’s strategic growth.
- Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the firm's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
- Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance.
- Develops and maintains a human resource information system (HRIS) that meets the organization's personnel information needs.
- Advise and/or counsel management in terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
- Advises management in appropriately resolving employee relations issues; investigates individual situations as required. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate on personnel matters.
Ideal Background for the role: - 10+ years in Human resources leadership, knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, benefits, compensation, compliance, and employee relations.
- Excellent ability to communicate, drive, and execute strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Servant leadership approach to management and builds high-trust relationships with senior leadership.
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence through effective influencing and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health & dental insurance, disability, etc.) and relevant regulations.
- Track record of leveraging a data-driven approach to effect HR initiatives change across the enterprise.
- Brings innovation to Blue in talent best practices
- Knowledge of modern human resources information systems (HRIS) and other enterprise resource management technologies
- Travel 20% of the time to our 10 physical offices and periodic overnight travel will be necessary.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Employment Law, or Organization Development
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
