Oil Changer

Job Summary:
The Oil Changer at Jim Bagan Toyota is responsible for performing routine oil changes and maintenance on vehicles at our South Lake Tahoe location. This individual will work as a part of our skilled labor team and must have a strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, hourly position with a compensation of $21 per hour and paid on a semimonthly basis.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine oil changes and maintenance on all makes and models of vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for any potential issues and report findings to senior technicians
- Replace oil filters and perform other basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Top off fluids and perform multi-point inspections according to company guidelines
- Keep accurate records of all services performed, including parts and labor
- Properly dispose of used oil and other vehicle materials in accordance with environmental regulations
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines set by the company

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working in an oil changing or automotive maintenance role preferred
- ASE certification or equivalent technical training strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
