We are currently seeking a Financial Management Consultant to join our team supporting the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Navy's effort to remediate audit findings issued by the IPA as it pertains to Budget execution
• Execute FMB’s audit remediation strategy including by participating in working groups, maintaining project plans and portfolios of activities for projects, and reporting to Navy Financial Management leadership on the status of initiatives
• Work with the Navy FM client and/or independently as required
• Supporting ad hoc project requests
• Attend meetings and provide client support onsite/in person when required

Qualifications:

• At least two years of professional experience providing financial management support to Federal government and/or Fortune 500 clients
• At least five years of professional experience overall
• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
