Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, assist dentist during dental procedures. Record treatment information in patient digital records. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients

Interview patients to gather medical information.
Record vital statistics or other health information.
Take diagnostic x-rays..
Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.

Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.

Explain technical dental information to patients..
