Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone screenings for individuals seeking medical assistance or emergency room services
- Gather relevant information from callers to determine the urgency and severity of their situation
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to assess the appropriate level of care needed
- Provide clear and accurate instructions to callers regarding next steps and recommended actions
- Document all interactions and information accurately in the system
Experience:
- Previous experience working with phone systems, preferably in a healthcare or emergency room setting, is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with callers and convey information clearly.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent attention to detail to accurately gather and document information.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
