About this Position

Title: Sr. Account Executive
Location: DC Metro Area
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission (uncapped)
Solution Experience: IaaS, Security, DR, Hosting, Co-location
Sales Experience: 5 + years technology solution sales
Target Market: Commercial, State/Federal Government

Responsibilities:
The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business development within enterprise accounts and Federal agencies selling cloud, infrastructure, and data center solutions.

Pursue inbound leads to identify needs and position the right solution
Manage an in-depth discovery process to qualify sales leads and opportunities
Drive complex consultative sales process from lead to close
Design high-level technical solutions using Visio and other tools
Diagnose customer pains and needs and present solutions
Support technical teams in the development of proposals and RFP responses
Use Salesforce.com to track sales activities and manage the sales pipeline

Skills and Abilities

Ability to discuss technical solutions and services at a high level
Knowledge of cloud service vendors like Amazon, Rackspace, Microsoft, and VMWare
Disciplined, self-starter, detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask
