Produce Quality Assurance Coordinator

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCE QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR

Produce Quality Assurance Coordinators are responsible for the quality of product in the produce.

PRODUCE QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs produce repack process using the Warehouse Management System
• Inspects produce daily and is responsible for the removal of low-quality products
• Uses WMS reporting as a guide for product inspections
• Perform cycle count tasks as set forth in the WMS system
• Responsible for receiving, inspection, putaway and replenishment of all produce products
• Coordinates with supervisor on all product donations
• Works closely with produce category manager and replenishment buyer
• Maintain a clean and neat workspace
• Ability to assist in will call selection as needed

PRODUCE QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• One to two years of experience in inventory and logistics management in a computerized state-of-the-art warehouse environment
• Demonstrates understanding of WMS, inventory management, control practices, product flow and productivity standards
• Perishables distribution center experience preferred
• Must be able to work fluctuating hours as needed to facilitate production and special project demands
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, WMS Systems experience

WORK SCHEDULE
Produce Quality Assurance Coordinator hours are Sunday 10am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:45pm

Compensation is $23 per hour. Our full-time employees enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical insurance with employee contribution, a company-paid $25,000 employee life insurance policy, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k)-program option with company match after 90 days.
