Pawnbroker/ Retail Sales

We are looking for a motivated BILINGUAL individual who likes to sell, is willing to learn and wants to make money and have a great career!!

Our pawnshop is located in Manassas, Va- right near the Centreville border. We are currently looking for a BILINGUAL ( absolutely MUST speak English and Spanish fluently) person to join our team full time at Centreville Gold & Pawn. You would work weekdays ( Monday- Friday) about 40- 42 hours per week. You will make $17-$20/ hour to start depending on your experience- PLUS we have a generous monthly commission plan where in addition to your hourly wage, you can also make 5% of your in store sales! For example, sell a $5000 gold necklace, make an extra $250, sell a $500 playstation, make an extra $25, sell a pair of $300 Yeezys, make an extra $15 on top of your salary! We sell it all at the shop....jewelry, coins, shoes, tools, electronics, computers, everything!

This is a great place to work.....We have a casual dress code ( shirts are supplied at no cost to you). We offer health and dental insurance after 3 months, we have a matching 401K program and 1 week of PTO after a year of work. We are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and July 4th. We offer a great hourly wage plus commission and a great work environment!

What are we looking for from you?

You must have motivation to be a winner and be the best you can be! You must have Great customer service- making sure every customer who comes in the shop is greeted with a hello and helped whether they are buying or just looking, whether they are paying a fee or getting a loan or selling their item to us! You must have the Ability to sell and communicate well with customers in English or in Spanish! You must have the ability to be on time every day, to not call in or miss shifts and be VERY dependable! You need to have the desire to make more money and reach goals each day, week and month. You must be able to use a computer and have the ability to use our pawn software/ POS system to collect the right amount of money, effectively manage your cash drawer, collect fees, do loans on items, make purchases of items and make sales. And most importantly, YOU MUST BE HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY! You will need to pass a background check and provide at least 3 work references to work at our store.

In addition, you should have the ability to use social media, Craigs list, offer up, or anything else to bring more NEW customers into the store and build a clientele for yourself and the store ( more sales= more money) . We have an incredible inventory that is always changing and we provide an immense amount of items to be listed and sold!
