Truckee Fire Protection District is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Administrative & Financial Services Director! Under the general direction of the Fire Chief, this position leads, manages, and directs the administrative andfinancial service functions of the Fire District.

• Administrative Operations

• Human Resources

• Risk management

• Government Financial Management

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and facilitate the recruitment, testing and selection processes for filling vacancies

• Administers District benefit plans

• Provide HR and financial guidance to managers, supervisors, and staff

• Oversee payroll processing and employee time accounting including reconciling leave balances

• Oversee employee discipline and separation

• Maintain District policy manual

• Oversee records retention

• Prepare District’s annual budget

• Oversee accounting of revenue and expenditures
